Microphone Permissions | Why can't the other person on the call hear me? Follow
Does the other person on the call not hear you talking? Are you receiving an error code #31208? Please ensure that the microphone permissions on your device are enabled for calls over Hushed to work properly.
Hushed requires access to your microphone in order for you to be able to place and receive calls, since the microphone is needed to convey sound from your side of things to the person you are contacting. Your voice is only transmitted to the other calling device and Hushed does not record any calls.
To enable microphone permissions on your device, follow these steps
iOS Microphone Permissions:
1️⃣ Select the 'Settings' app on your iOS device
2️⃣ Select the 'Privacy' >> 'Microphone'
3️⃣ Find 'Hushed' in the app list and Toggle ON to enable Microphone permissions
Android Microphone Permissions:
1️⃣ Select the 'Settings' app on your Android device
2️⃣ Select 'Apps' >> Select the 'More' icon on the top right corner (three dots)
3️⃣ Select 'App Permissions' from the drop-down menu
4️⃣ Select 'Microphone'
5️⃣ Find 'Hushed' in the app list and Toggle ON to enable Microphone permissions
