Porting Numbers | Can I transfer my existing number to Hushed? Follow
Yes, you can port your number to Hushed!
We support porting in mobile and VoIP numbers only — landline numbers cannot be ported at this time. The number must be active at the time of the request, as inactive or expired numbers cannot be transferred.
Porting your number is free, and once completed, we’ll place your number on a complimentary 7-day plan, so there’s no need to purchase a plan beforehand.
To get started, please contact our support team at support@hushed.com, and we’ll provide you with the porting form and guide you through the process.
Here’s what you’ll need depending on your number’s country:
-
U.K. numbers:
- You’ll need to request a PAC (Porting Authorization Code) from your current provider
- You’ll need to request a PAC (Porting Authorization Code) from your current provider
-
U.S. & Canadian numbers:
- Account Number (from your current provider)
- Port-out PIN (even if you haven’t set one up, most providers automatically generate one for security — check with your provider)
- Full Name and Address (the address must match the number’s country: U.S. for U.S. numbers, Canada for Canadian numbers)
Once we have this information, we’ll submit the port request. Porting typically takes up to 12 business days, depending on the losing carrier, and ports cannot be processed on weekends.
⚠ Important:
- Only active mobile or VoIP numbers can be ported in — landline numbers are not supported
- The associated address cannot be a P.O. Box
- Number ports are not instantaneous and may take multiple days to complete
