Call Forwarding | How do I set up Call Forwarding on my Hushed number? Follow
Call Forwarding and Call Routing are two features that help you stay connected and manage your calls more effectively.
Call Forwarding lets you automatically send incoming calls to your Hushed number to another number.
To enable Call Forwarding on your Hushed number, follow these steps:
- Select the Hushed phone number you will be working with (on the Hushed app)
- Select the 'Number Settings' icon at the bottom right of the navigation bar
- Select 'Call Management'
- Toggle ON/OFF 'Enable Call Forwarding'
- Input a local phone number in the 'Forward To:' field that you'd like all calls forwarded to
- OPTIONAL: Toggle ON/OFF 'Forward Incoming Caller ID' - enabling this will show the incoming caller's number as the Caller ID on your receiving device. If disabled, the forwarded Caller ID will just display your Hushed number
- Press the save icon at the top right
⚠ Important:
- Calls using Call Forwarding are billed to your Hushed plan minutes as two separate calls (one for receiving the call to Hushed and one for making the call to the other service) but will appear as a single call in your Hushed app's Call History.
- Call Forwarding can only be done on the local calling plan meaning you can only forward to local phone numbers. For example, a US phone number would be unable to forward calls to a UK number. However, a US number can call forward to another US number.
