Why are my text messages green? Follow
When text messages appear on your screen in the green bubble, it typically indicates that they’ve been sent as SMS (Short Message Service) rather than via iMessage.
This typically happens if you happen to be texting someone who uses an Android or other non-Apple phone. On iPhones, blue bubbles indicate iMessages, which are sent over data or WiFi. Green bubbles, on the other hand, indicate regular text messages that are sent through your mobile service provider.
Regardless of what type of device you have, the green messages might also appear if your internet connection is weak or unavailable, or if you have iMessage turned off on your iPhone.
