How to change privacy on Facebook Follow
If you’re looking to change your privacy settings on Facebook you can go through a “Privacy Checkup” in a few easy steps.
Open the app or website and head to Settings & Privacy > Privacy Checkup
This tool will take you through each of your privacy options, including the visibility of your posts, your friend requests and if your Facebook content appears in online searches.
Take a good look at each of your settings so that you have full control over who can view your future post, if anyone is able to find your phone or email, and if you are searchable outside of Facebook.
Beyond your own content, be sure to check Profile and Tagging options to ensure you know who can tag you in their posts or photos. It also makes sense to regularly review past posts to make sure that you are not tagged in content that is inappropriate, from another time in your life, or no longer aligns with your professional online identity.
